The Pavilion Hotel Review – a great place to relax in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, is a vibrant city with a rich history. As soon as you will enter the city, you will feel its pulse and all the hustle and bustle. However, if you are searching for a quiet place, where you can relax and enjoy your holiday, I definitely recommend The Pavilion hotel, part of Maads Asia.

The hotel has a lot of history as the building which serves as the main entrance was built for Queen Kossamak (The Pavilion is situated near the Royal Pagoda, where she used to pray). Check out the video below for a short preview of this amazing place.

The Pavilion oasis is situated in the heart of Phnom Penh, close to the main attractions of the city such as: the Independence Monument, the Royal Palace and the National Museum of Cambodia. As soon as you will enter the hotel, you will be surrounded by beautiful palm trees, amazing pools and friendly staff.

Do not forget to enjoy your welcome drink and the Banh Da Lo’n dessert. So tasty!

1. The Pavilion Hotel Activities & Facilities

Pools

Did I just said ‘pools’? Yes, that’s right. The Pavilion has 2 amazing pools to choose  from. If you are looking for the perfect tan, you can relax in the ‘Sun’ pool. However, if you are looking for a place where you can feel in the middle of nature, I recommend the ‘Lush’ pool. If you don’t feel like swimming, you can definitely relax while reading a book on the sunbeds or lounge chairs available near each pool.

Spa

Because your well-being always comes first at The Pavilion, the hotel provides amazing spa services . Each guest receives a complimentary 25 minutes massage for the period of stay. 25 minutes to feel like you are in heaven! After your body is fully relaxed, you can enjoy a cup of tea at the shadow of palm trees.

You can also choose other services on the spa menu.

2. Restaurant

Breakfast by the pool at The Pavilion Hotel Phnom Penh

What can be better than waking up and enjoying your breakfast by the pool while listening to the birds singing?

The Pavilion has one of the best breakfasts I have ever experienced at a hotel! There are many options to choose from and the best part is that you can order as many times you want! I absolutely loved the fresh fruits and smoothies. So yum! You can also enjoy lunch and dinner at the restaurant.

3. Rooms

The Pavilion can meet even the most demanding tastes. There are several room types to choose from: with private pool, with garden view or balcony. I loved the charm of my room. The design made my feel like a real princess. I also liked that the room was very spacious and it had a minibar, a large sofa, air conditioning, TV and the best garden view. The balcony was the perfect place to relax with a cup of tea after a long day of visiting Phnom Penh.

4. The Pavilion Hotel Staff

The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. They will make sure that you will have an amazing stay. If you need any help for getting around the city or bus tickets to other destinations in Cambodia, do not hesitate to ask at the reception.

5. Book now!

I think it’s already clear how much I enjoyed my stay at The Pavilion. Most of all, I loved how peaceful it was. With all the butterflies flying around and the birds singing is hard not to feel relaxed and welcomed. If you are looking for a place to stay in Phnom Penh, do not hesitate to check The Pavilion out!

May the travel bug bite you!
