Are you looking for the best places to watch the sunset in El Nido? You are in the right place.
El Nido is one of the most beautiful and popular areas in the Philippines, together with Siquijor and Bohol, and it attracts both local and international tourists. Most of the people come here for the island hopping tours but there is so much more to see.
El Nido has some incredible beaches and the sunsets here are spectacular. I’ve been traveling around SE Asia for more than a year but the El Nido sunsets are my favorites so far.
Let’s jump straight to it and see which are the best sunset points in El Nido.
El Nido sunset locations
For the best sunset views, I recommend going to beaches where you can see the limestone mountains on the horizon. Those mountains make the sunset much more spectacular. Below are my recommendations for the best beaches to watch the sunset in El Nido.

1. Las Cabanas Beach sunset
In my opinion, Las Cabanas Beach is one of the most romantic places in El Nido. The beach is big enough to accommodate many people and the views are spectacular.

At the horizon you will see tall, limestone mountains and the sun is setting right behind them. Grab a blanket and take a seat at one of nature’s spectacles. The sky will turn orange and pink and it will beautifully reflect into the water. Don’t forget your camera home!
If you want to enjoy Las Cabanas Beach sunset while eating dinner, you can choose one of the beautiful restaurants situated right on the beach. The prices are a bit higher than in El Nido town but the views are worth it.
How to get to Las Cabanas Beach: take a tricycle for 150 pesos from El Nido town or rent a motorbike for 600 pesos per day.
2. Corong Corong Beach sunset
Corong Corong Beach is situated just a short walk away from El Nido town. There are a few restaurants and bars right on the seashore so if you want to have a romantic dinner, you can eat something while enjoying the views.

3. Twin Beach sunset
The Twin Beach is the place where Nacpan Beach and Calitang Beach meet. Although this location is a bit far away from El Nido town (it takes about 45 minutes to get here), you will be rewarded with one of the most spectacular sunsets in El Nido.

I recommend watching the sunset from Calitang Beach. On the right side of the beach, there is a small hill covered with palm trees while on the left side of the beach you can admire the limestone mountains.
If you want to grab a beer or something to drink, don’t worry. There are a few local bars and restaurants right on the beach. Don’t expect anything fancy!
