El Nido is one of the most beautiful and popular areas in the Philippines, together with Siquijor and Bohol, and it attracts both local and international tourists. Most of the people come here for the island hopping tours but there is so much more to see.

El Nido has some incredible beaches and the sunsets here are spectacular. I’ve been traveling around SE Asia for more than a year but the El Nido sunsets are my favorites so far.

Let’s jump straight to it and see which are the best sunset points in El Nido.

For the best sunset views, I recommend going to beaches where you can see the limestone mountains on the horizon. Those mountains make the sunset much more spectacular. Below are my recommendations for the best beaches to watch the sunset in El Nido.

At the horizon you will see tall, limestone mountains and the sun is setting right behind them. Grab a blanket and take a seat at one of nature’s spectacles. The sky will turn orange and pink and it will beautifully reflect into the water. Don’t forget your camera home!

If you want to enjoy Las Cabanas Beach sunset while eating dinner, you can choose one of the beautiful restaurants situated right on the beach. The prices are a bit higher than in El Nido town but the views are worth it.

How to get to Las Cabanas Beach: take a tricycle for 150 pesos from El Nido town or rent a motorbike for 600 pesos per day.
