Situated in the heart of Tanah Rata, the Avillion Cameron Highlands Hotel offers 100 suites. The hotel was opened on 16th of January 2018 and it’s the fifth hotel under the Avillion-managed hotels. With a modern design and great location, this hotel is perfect if you are looking for a simple yet comfortable place to stay.

Avillion Cameron Highlands Hotel Review

Cameron Highlands has a lot to offer in terms of natural beauty and biodiversity and a trip to Malaysia wouldn’t be complete without exploring this beautiful area. Even though the most famous attraction is the BOH tea plantation, Cameron Highlands will surprise you with so many other beautiful places.

1. Accessibility

A big plus is that Avillion Cameron Highlands is situated within walking distance from the Tanah Rata bus station, where you are most probably going to arrive. Also, the hotel is close to many tourist information points where you can buy day tours around Cameron Highlands. We took the half day tour to the tea plantations and loved it!

Right at the entrance of the hotel you can also find a supermarket and a few shops and restaurants in case you want to do some shopping. Also, the bank is just two minutes away and there are plenty of motorbike rental companies in the area.

2. Reception & Staff

As you will enter the hotel, you will notice the modern design with straight lines. I loved that the hotel lobby was spacious and welcoming. Also, the hotel staff will make sure that you will be checked in as fast as possible.

3. Our room

The room was extremely spacious and what I loved the most is that it also had a small kitchen. I won’t lie and say that I cook while traveling but it was nice to have plates and kitchen utensils.

They were very useful for cutting all the delicious fruits we bought in Cameron Highlands. Also, we had complimentary tea, coffee and water and the room featured an electric kettle.

I also liked that there were two sofas in the room, which were perfect to sit on while working on my blog. No matter what room you’ll choose, you will most probably have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and hills.

The bathroom featured a shower and all the necessary amenities for a great stay.

-> If you’re planning to visit Kuala Lumpur, make sure to add Batu Caves to your itinerary!
